Honorary President

At the AGM of Herefordshire & the Marches Association on 24 October 2017, Mr Keith Siggers stood down as Chairman, having held this post for nine years - almost a third of the Association's 30-year existence.  Members present at the AGM approved his appointment as the Association's Honorary President in recognition of his long service.  Keith thanked members for their confidence in him and said he looked forward to continuing his long involvement with the Association.

In January 2018 our Chairman, Eileen Dilley, received an Award signed by Dame Helen Ghosh, NT Director-General, recognising her 30 years of service as a Volunteer at Berrington Hall. The text on the Certificate Award says:

It gives me great pleasure to thank you for giving your time so generously to Berrington Hall and the National Trust over the last 30 years.

In this time, the Trust has achieved so much and we wouldn't have been able to do this without the generous time given by volunteers like you.  Volunteers are very much at the heart of the Trust and I've seen for myself what invaluable help and support volunteers give to our properties.
Thank you for your significant contribution over the years.  We couldn't do it without you!
